Alpha Warranty is looking for a someone with automotive experience who wants to use that knowledge outside of the shop. Or someone with customer service experience (call center) who wants to speak with other businesses instead of customers. Our Level 1 Claims Adjusters are responsible for answering incoming phone calls from auto mechanics. Our claims adjusters create a new claim using our internal system, review the customer's contract, and determine if the repair being recommended by the mechanic is covered by the customer's contract. When the repair is listed for coverage, the Claims Adjuster will authorize payment for the repair. 


Automotive experience, or familiarity with automotive parts, is necessary. We have more experienced mechanics available for complex and escalated repairs, this position is for basic auto repairs. This position requires accurate data-entry within our data management programs, as well as communicating clearly with repair facilities. Responsibilities also include email correspondence and placing outbound phone calls as necessary with our parts vendors and repair shops. We will train the right candidate about basic automotive parts to understand industry lingo if needed.


Working hours are an assigned 8-hour shift between 7 AM and 6 PM Monday - Friday. No weekends. Full Time; 40 hours a week.



  • Answer between 30 - 60 phone calls per day in a call center environment
  • Verify coverage and process claim documents and inquiries related to multiple lines of contracts
  • Enter repair claim information, cost estimates, and attach supporting documentation into our web-based database system
  • Sourcing automotive parts through our network of part vendors
  • Ordering mechanical inspections
  • Processing low-dollar repair claims according to the customer's contract
  • Work closely with ASE certified Claims Adjusters regarding high-dollar claims and complex repairs
  • Manage the Claims voicemail inbox
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be added as the position develops


  • Automotive knowledge and/or experience
  • Call Center Experience a plus
  • Data Entry Experience
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Must be able to type at least 25 WPM
  • Computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
