Overview

Are you a natural at building strong relationships? Do you embrace the challenge of developing and motivating others? If so, you should apply for the Onboarding Specialist position! As a valued member of the Sales team, reporting to our General Sales Manager, you will fulfill the needs of a fast-growing company by ensuring  efficient, quality onboarding and training for dealers through daily outbound calls. You will leverage the company’s technology platforms to develop a highly effective onboarding process, and be responsible for motivating, coaching, training and problem solving with team members.

Responsibilities

At Alpha Warranty, you will have the opportunity to work closely and connect with members of our awesome team and rock your job responsibilities, which include: 

  • Owning the customer relationship during the onboarding phase
  • Educating customers on POS system and company programs
  • Driving a sense of urgency with customers and managing their expectations
  • Striving for 100% customer satisfaction and conversion rate
  • Holding status meetings, as appropriate, with team members
  • Effectively communicating information to VP of Sales
  • Resolving and/or escalating onboarding issues in a timely fashion
  • Monitoring customer advancement through the onboarding phase, analyze usage, and ensure onboarding exit criteria are communicated to sales team
  • Acting as the voice of the customer and information hub between Sales and Customer Success. Work to ensure smooth transitions for customers between teams
  • Identifying and acting on areas for improvement in internal processes

 

Qualifications

What Alpha Warranty will love about you: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience being in a customer-facing role (CSM, Account Management) preferably in the automotive industry
  • A consulting background or consultative perspective
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Experience owning, managing, and driving projects forward in a timely way
  • Demonstrated ability in creating, communicating, and delivering actionable plans to a diverse audience, including executives
  • Ability to speak confidently
  • A natural inclination for building relationships across teams
  • Working knowledge of technology such as Word, CRM databases, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Your automotive knowledge is a plus, but not required
